Scott Prillaman Joins PHCC Foundation Board of Directors

Prillaman is a Vice President with Hooker Furniture Corp.

The Patrick Henry Community College Foundation welcome Scott Prillaman of Stanleytown to its Board of Directors.


Prillaman has been employed by Hooker Furniture for 26 years and currently serves as Vice President of Casegood Operations managing a multimillion dollar operating budget and a team in excess of 140 employees.


Prillaman, an alumnus of Patrick Henry Community College, received his Bachelors of Arts in Marketing from Radford University, in 1990. He is married to Angela C. Prillaman, a retired Henry County elementary school teacher. His oldest son Ryan is a physical education teacher at Campbell Court Elementary School in Bassett and his son Cody is a senior at Radford University and a former Patrick Henry Scholar. Prillaman also serves as a member and immediate past President of the United Way Board of Directors and on the Henry County Parks and Recreation Advisory Board.


“We are very grateful to have Scott join our Foundation Board,” says Foundation Executive Director and VP for Institutional Advancement, Effectiveness, and Campus Life, Dr. Greg Hodges. “He brings a wealth of community leadership and experience to the college.”
 

The Patrick Henry Community College Foundation is a not-for profit organization that is fiscally and organizationally separate from the college. Its goal is to enhance community awareness of Patrick Henry Community College; to secure contributions, bequests and donations; and to account for, manage and help appreciate monies or property submitted to the Foundation.


The Foundation’s Board of Directors is composed of representatives from the service area of Patrick Henry Community College who represent positive leadership and community influence, and who have an interest in using their influence on behalf of the college. Board members serve three-year terms, with the option of being reappointed once their term ends.
